Liverpool Vs Arsenal: Preview, Odds, and Livestream
Liverpool and Arsenal are clashing on Monday, September 28, at 21.00 CET. The Gunners are on their way to Anfield and both teams are two for two, for now. Counting their previous matchups, Liverpool has won 89 matches and lost 80 to Arsenal. There have been 61 draws.
Liverpool was consistently winning or getting a draw since 2015. Unfortunately for them, the last two matches against Arsenal did not end favorably. They lost 2-1 in the Premier League and 5-4 in penalties in the FA Community Shield. Coincidentally, Rhian Brewster was the only one of the Reds not to score the penalty kick. It is a question of whether his return to Liverpool is going to be an asset to the team in the near future.
So, where do we stand now? Though the Reds have lost their last two matches against the Gunners, the home-turf of Anfield is going to play a big part in the game. Additionally, Liverpool’s recent victory over Chelsea is proof that Jurgen Klopp knows his team and how to achieve results. On the other hand, Arsenal obliterated Fulham with 3-0 and managed to beat West Ham. the second one was expected, but not as impressive as it could have been.
Who Will Win?
We predict that both teams are likely to score at least one goal. However, Klopp’s leadership and the advantage of the home turf give Liverpool all they need to stop Arsenal. It is probable that Arsenal will score a single goal in the first half of the game. We don’t expect them to be able to advance further than that. Both of the teams have a solid lineup and Arsenal is currently in the lead in the Premier League standings, but that can quickly change. Arsenal also has far more injured players than the Reds. At the time of writing, there are no official lineups.
